Job summary

Brazos-Valley Council of Governments is seeking a CSBG Case Manager I in Bryan, TX to support low-income individuals through intake, eligibility, and goal planning under CSBG guidelines. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate degree or higher preferred with coursework in social work or related field.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience preferred.
• ROMA or CCAP certification within indicated timelines is desired.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurately document client information.

Responsibilities

• Process client applications and determine eligibility under CSBG guidelines.
• Provide case management coaching to support Transition Out of Poverty (TOP) clients toward self-sufficiency.
• Maintain contact with each client at least monthly to develop Service Delivery Plans and coordinate referrals.
• Enter data accurately in designated systems and maintain electronic and paper records.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and attend interagency meetings.
• Travel for home visits or local area as needed.
