Bluefors Cryocooler Technologies, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking an After Cryocooler Technician to join our manufacturing team.

You will assemble, fabricate, and test HeRL, LHeP, and LNP systems, prepare cold heads and compressor packages, and conduct qualification tests. The role requires a high school diploma with technical training, strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and experience with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training in mechanical, electrical, welding, or related field preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good hand/eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate, and test after cryocooler products including HeRL, LHeP, and LNP systems.
• Prepare cold heads and compressor packages for qualification testing.
• Set up qualification tests, document results, and communicate findings to management.
• Perform helium leak testing using specialized equipment.
• Assemble complex customer-specific products including CHCS, Auto Purifiers, and Compact Recovery Systems.
• Read and follow SOPs and work instructions; maintain quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and support continuous improvement.
