Bluefors Cryocooler Technologies, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our facilities and manufacturing team.

In this entry-level role you will help maintain production equipment, support preventative maintenance, and contribute to a safe, clean and efficient manufacturing environment. You will perform hands-on tasks such as servicing equipment, maintaining records, coordinating with production managers, and supporting with shutdowns and routine checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of maintenance experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance with daily production needs.
• Fill liquid nitrogen transfer dewars and flasks.
• Clean vacuum pump traps and nitrogen flasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain records and monitor inventory.
• Coordinate planned maintenance with production managers.
