Job summary

Bluefors Cryocooler Technologies, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Associate – Clean/Test.

You will assemble and fabricate cryocooler products, troubleshoot equipment, and perform tests while documenting results to meet performance specs and quality standards. The role requires reading mechanical drawings and using precision measuring tools, with attention to detail and adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to use and understand precision measuring tools and devices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate and replace components as required.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Review production schedules, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams and schematics to determine appropriate testing procedures and equipment.
• Verify that work orders reflect the latest revisions before beginning testing procedures.
• Perform assigned tests accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate progress, challenges and relevant updates to the Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner.
• Follow all plant safety requirements, SOPs and established work instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
