Job summary

Linde plc is hiring to operate a cryogenic air separation plant in an industrial setting in Canton, Ohio. You will monitor process performance, adjust parameters, and ensure safety and reliability of plant operations.

The role requires proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, familiarity with control platforms, and ability to interpret engineering drawings. Strong communication and equipment handling skills are essential for safe, efficient teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production processes in an industrial environment with a strong safety focus.
• Proficiency with mechanical/electrical systems and industrial instrumentation.
• Familiarity with control systems and human-machine interfaces (Wonderware, Rockwell, Siemens).
• Ability to read and revise P&ID and schematic wiring diagrams.
• Excellent communication of technical information to enable safe, coordinated teamwork.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms safely.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant for reliable, efficient performance.
• Perform and facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to uphold safety and equipment integrity.
• Monitor process performance and adjust parameters to maintain reliability, quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety policies and report incidents promptly.
• Collect and interpret equipment/process data to inform proactive maintenance decisions.
• Oversee contractors to ensure safety compliance and quality execution.
• Execute lock-out tag-out procedures and recommend process improvements.
