Job summary

Linde plc is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant, perform maintenance and troubleshooting, and monitor process performance to maintain reliability and quality. You will enforce safety policies, manage contractor activities, and drive proactive maintenance decisions in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production processes in an industrial environment with a strong safety focus.
• Proficiency with mechanical equipment, electrical systems and industrial instrumentation.
• Familiarity with controls and HMIs (Wonderware, Rockwell, Siemens).
• Ability to read and revise engineering drawings including P&ID and schematic wiring diagrams.
• Clear communication of technical information to support safe, coordinated teamwork.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes and aerial work platforms safely per procedures.
• Strong computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
• Perform and facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs ensuring safety and equipment integrity.
• Monitor process performance and adjust operational parameters to maintain reliability and quality.
• Adhere to company, customer, and regulatory safety policies; report incidents promptly.
• Collect and interpret trends in equipment and process data to strengthen proactive maintenance decisions.
• Oversee contractors performing routine and non-routine work to ensure safety and quality execution.
• Execute lock-out tag-out procedures and recommend improvements that enhance process availability and reliability.
