Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering is seeking a Structural/Mechanical Engineer II to perform design and analysis for liquid storage structures, vessels, and foundations. You will work within a team to support LNG terminals and cryogenic storage projects across field and fabrication offices.

Required BS in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience; EIT preferred; strong knowledge of structural analysis and FEA tools (ANSYS, STAAD) is desired.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil (Structural) or Mechanical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.
• EIT preferred; 2+ years related engineering experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of strength of materials and structural analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and calculations for liquid storage structures and foundations.
• Conduct linear/nonlinear structural loading, seismic, and thermal analyses.
• Prepare project documents and edit specifications; support field and fabrication offices.
• Collaborate with team members and meet deadlines.
