Job summary

Montana Instruments is seeking an Inside Sales I to support the global sales team, developing product knowledge and delivering timely quotes and technical responses. You will collaborate with Sales, Service, Engineering, Production, and Finance to ensure accurate quotes and robust customer support while driving order bookings.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years in customer-facing roles, with proficiency in Salesforce, Epicor, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in customer-facing roles in technical sales or business development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of Montana Instruments' product line and features.
• Respond to requests for quotations and technical inquiries globally in a timely manner.
• Provide price quotations and shipment lead times to staff, distributors, prospects, and customers.
• Ensure quotes reflect customer requirements and internal part numbers.
• Collaborate with engineering and customer service to drive sales and support existing customers.
• Assist sales admin with processing orders and cross-train to cover busy periods.
• Attend workshops and conferences to stay updated on industry trends.
• Maintain customer, opportunity, and prospect data across Salesforce.
• Work with team to meet or exceed global order bookings targets.
• Lead sales on A-Jobs and maintenance orders, e.g., Cold Head Hot Swaps.
