Job summary

OPW seeks a Sales Engineer for the Acme Cryogenics division, covering the region. You will develop commercial and technical understanding, visit customer sites for surveys, size and coordinate installation of cryogenic systems, and prepare quotations.

You will provide ongoing technical support, manage projects through installation, and maintain CRM records. The role requires extensive travel (50%+), collaboration with Engineering and Inside Sales, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Cryogenics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Cryogenics Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience preferred.
• Experience in cryogenics industry highly desirable.
• Ability to travel 50% or more.
• Ability to read blue prints a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial and technical understanding of Acme Cryogenics products.
• Travel to customer locations to perform site surveys and generate sketches for fabrication drawings.
• Develop quotations to meet customer requirements and coordinate installation.
• Provide ongoing technical support and project management through final installation.
• Handle inbound sales leads and convert to sales; work with Technical Inside Sales on quotations.
• Build and maintain customer relationships; make technical visits to customers and prospects as needed.
• Assist in resolving customer problems arising from product use; maintain paperwork and CRM entries.
• Identify competitive market activities and report to GM; perform other tasks as assigned.
