Job summary

A leading industrial gas supplier is seeking a Maintenance & Service Technician based in the Chicago, IL area. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining cryogenic and gas supply systems. Candidates must have a strong commitment to safety, a high school diploma, and proficiency with various technical tools. Responsibilities include servicing gas systems at customer sites across a 250-mile radius and being available for after-hours calls. Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety over production and efficiency.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Technical degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Service Air Products cryogenic and generated gas systems at customer sites.
• Supervise contractors and participate in after-hours call-outs.
• Maintain 24/7 availability and utilize company-provided equipment.

Skills

Proficiency with drills/impact drivers

Strong troubleshooting abilities

Comfortable working on de-energized circuits

Effective communication skills

Understanding of piping systems

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
