Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide Company, seeks a Cryogenic Service Technician to install and maintain cryogenic vessels and pumping systems across customer sites. The role requires on-site work in Denver, CO, with regular travel and on-call duties. You will perform installations, preventative maintenance, and system repairs while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• General mechanical skills, plumbing and electrical proficiency.
• Must have a clean MVR and valid driver's license and insurance.
• Experience using hand tools, electrical and manual, safely.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain cryogenic pressure vessels in industrial, medical, specialty gas, and welding markets.
• Attend in-house and external training to become proficient with bulk gas delivery systems serviced by Airgas Intermountain.
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance and repairs on bulk gas delivery systems.
• Safely operate an Airgas vehicle to complete work orders at customer locations.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, truck inventory and equipment to respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
• Travel as required, with expenses paid by Airgas. Overnight travel may be necessary.
• Deliver, install and maintain all cryogenic pressure vessels in the customer base.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on a regularly scheduled basis of all cryogenic pressure vessels.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies needed to perform duties.
• Handle hazardous materials daily in a safe and approved manner.
• Install piping and final line regulator systems for medical and industrial applications.
• Set alarms for automatic emergency reserve systems of gases at hospitals.
• Install manifolds for use with high pressure gas cylinders.
• Install and maintain cryogenic pumps and drives to all branch locations.
• Conduct sight surveys at prospective customer locations to determine installation requirements.
• Install and maintain cryogenic pumping systems on delivery trucks.
