Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Maintenance & Service Technician based in Chicago, IL, responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining cryogenic and gas supply systems. This role involves daily travel to customer sites within 250 miles, with training provided for new technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Service Air Products cryogenic and high-pressure systems.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend call-outs.
• Travel for training purposes and customer support.

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools

Welding or brazing experience

Strong troubleshooting abilities

Understanding of piping systems

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Technical degree (preferred but not required)

Tools

Electrical multi-meters

Drills/impact drivers

Brazing torches
