Job summary

Chart, Inc. in Franklin, IN is seeking a temporary Field Service Tech to support welding and installation tasks across demanding projects. You will perform welding per ASME VIII and B31.3, operate rigs and vehicles, and work in confined spaces while following safety rules.

This role requires 1+ years in welding or construction and preferred welding certifications, including stainless TIG. You should be comfortable with lifting, climbing, and traveling as needed on job sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of experience in welding, fitting, or construction.
• Welding certifications (Preferred).
• Stainless Steel TIG welding (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform ASME welding per ASME VIII and B31.3; GTAW primary, SMAW/GMAW occasionally.
• Work in a permit-required confined space environment.
• Operate company and rental vehicles and equipment.
• Bolt up piping assemblies.
• Assist with testing of pressure vessels and piping systems.
• Report near misses or injuries immediately to supervisor.
