Job summary

Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. seeks a Crusher Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment at customer sites across the region.

You will order parts, document work, and communicate professionally with customers and team members. This safety-sensitive role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and 2+ years diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Two years of continuous experience diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.
• Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics is preferred.
• Must furnish and maintain a set of tools and any specialty tools required by the company.
• Ability to work overtime, stay overnight, and on weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicates Kirby Smith vision and core values.
• Performs field repairs and maintenance with little supervision.
• Diagnoses problems and makes repairs using established guidelines and flat rates.
• Plans methods and sequence of repairs and ensures safety policies are followed.
• Keeps vehicle and equipment clean and in good condition.
