Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring servers to work onboard for up to 28 weeks during the 2026 season. You will work in the shipboard hotel and restaurant, delivering hospitality and representing the brand while supporting guests across dining experiences.

Responsibilities include preparing dining spaces, serving multiple courses, and addressing guest needs with attentiveness. The position emphasizes teamwork, professional conduct, and guest satisfaction aboard our ships.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Pre-employment drug test is required under Federal Law and DOT guidelines.
• Alcohol consumption is prohibited while on board.
• Grooming standards apply, including limits on visible tattoos and piercings.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour; manage table settings and serviceware.
• Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care.
• Greet guests, escort to tables, present menus, and offer menu/wine recommendations.
• Assist with embarkation greetings, afternoon teas, snacks, and evening entertainment as needed.
