Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is looking for an Assistant Storekeeper to support shipboard stores and inventory. You will help ensure provisions, spare parts, and supplies are adequately stocked and organized on the cruise ship.

In this role you will work closely with the Storekeeper to manage stock levels, receive deliveries, issue supplies, monitor shelf life, and maintain storeroom equipment, while adhering to health and safety procedures in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and stock tracking.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels.
• Receive deliveries, verify quantity and quality, and store items properly.
• Assist in issuing supplies to departments and document all issuances.
• Monitor expiry dates and rotate stock to minimize waste.
• Maintain storeroom equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Maintain records and generate reports on inventory and consumption patterns.
• Follow health and safety regulations and use PPE correctly.
• Coordinate with departments to fulfill requests and improve processes.
• Assist in training and supervising storeroom staff.
