Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of managing related labor required.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Thorough knowledge of principles of operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 operating systems.
• Knowledge of safety and accident prevention codes and regulations.
• Must be willing to observe all safety, health, and environmental requirements.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Valid CPR certificate and driver’s license required; must be able to obtain TWIC/Port IDs as required.

Aufgaben

• Plan, design, and implement all cruise vessel operations.
• Liaise with customers, authorities, union labor and officials, contractors, and company staff on any operational requirements.
• Ensure availability of equipment and personnel required to effectively conduct tasks outlined by the operations plan.
• Supervise personnel in proper operating procedures, and counsel, discipline, and/or make termination recommendations as needed.
• Plan and conduct safety meetings as part of operation briefing and ensure PPE usage.
• Coordinate with Sr. Director Safety and HSE Manager for safety protocols and adherence.
• Ensure staff comply with policies, regulations and safety rules; union contracts and laws.
• Engage with customers regularly to address concerns and meet satisfaction standards.
• Monitor spending and participate in monthly/annual financial planning and reviews.
• Investigate injuries and damage and report findings.
• Participate in settlements of on-the-job grievances and Labor Relations Committee proceedings.
• Complete reports and forms and present to required parties by deadlines.
