Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Scheduling Manager - Crude to lead the daily scheduling, movement, and coordination of crude volumes across pipelines, terminals, storage and transport assets. You will work with commercial, operations, accounting and customer teams to ensure accurate, timely deliveries and optimize asset utilization.

The role requires 8+ years in crude scheduling or midstream energy, a bachelor’s degree, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Petroleum Engineering, Energy Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in crude oil scheduling, logistics, transportation, pipeline operations, or midstream energy.
  • Strong understanding of crude oil pipeline scheduling processes and terminal operations.
  • Knowledge of pipeline tariffs, nomination procedures, and transportation contracts.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and commercial transactions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and scheduling/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily crude oil scheduling across pipelines, terminals, storage facilities, rail, truck, and marine transportation systems.
  • Coordinate nominations, confirmations, allocations, and movement planning with shippers, producers, refiners, and third-party carriers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate scheduling of inbound and outbound crude oil volumes.
  • Monitor inventory positions and coordinate adjustments to minimize disruptions.
  • Resolve volume discrepancies, scheduling conflicts, and transportation issues.
  • Serve as primary contact for customers regarding crude oil movements and scheduling activities.
  • Collaborate with commercial/marketing to execute transportation and storage agreements.
  • Support optimization opportunities by identifying logistics efficiencies and capacity enhancements.
  • Maintain relationships with customers, pipeline operators, terminals, and industry partners.
  • Work with field operations to ensure safe and efficient product movement.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance and understand impact on scheduling.
  • Assist during operational upsets and recovery efforts.
  • Monitor and reconcile crude inventories across locations.
  • Review and approve volume accounting, balancing, gain/loss reporting, and settlement information.
  • Support month-end close processes and audit requirements.
  • Analyze scheduling and inventory data to identify trends and improve performance.
