You will help develop personalized recovery plans, model coping strategies, and connect clients with community resources. Qualified candidates have lived experience with recovery, CRSS certification, and WRAP training or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Lived experience required to support clients in crisis.
• CRSS certification is REQUIRED.
• WRAP certification or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate peer support to individuals in mental health crisis situations.
• Collaborate with individuals to develop a personalized recovery plan that ensures safety and comfort.
• Teach and model effective problem-solving techniques and coping strategies.
• Assist participants in identifying personal strengths, recovery goals, and barriers.
• Serve as a recovery role model by demonstrating coping techniques and self-care practices.
• Participate in trainings and meetings to improve peer support practices.
• Collaborate with teams to assess high-risk indicators and respond appropriately.
• Conduct outreach and connect participants to community resources and services.
• Provide follow-up support to ensure continuity of care.
