Job summary

The Mammography Technologist at The Hospital of Central Connecticut will perform diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures and operate digital tomosynthesis equipment to support physicians in diagnosis and treatment. The role offers training opportunities in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization and contrast-enhanced mammography.

Candidates should be graduates of an approved radiography program with CT state licensing and ARRT certification; mammography experience and acute care

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Radiography program.
CT State Radiographer's License required.
ARRT (R) required - ARRT (M) preferred.
Current x-ray and mammography experience highly preferred.
Acute care experience and experience with invasive procedures is very highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic mammography procedures using digital tomosynthesis equipment.
Operate tomosynthesis and related imaging procedures.
Opportunity to train in DEXA, stereotactic, needle localization, and contrast-enhanced mammography.
