Job summary

East Side House Settlement seeks a Social Work Supervisor to provide cross-site leadership over social work and case management across assigned properties. The Supervisor will oversee staff, provide practice guidance, and ensure resident-centered services that promote housing stability.

The role collaborates with Social Workers, Lead Social Workers, Case Managers, program leadership, and community partners to support effective service delivery, documentation standards, and continuous quality

Qualifications

• MSW degree from an accredited program.
• Minimum 3–5 years post-graduate social work experience.
• Two years supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-site supervision and practice oversight for Social Workers, Lead Social Workers, and Case Managers across properties.
• Offer regular supervision, coaching, case consultation, and professional development to strengthen practice and accountability.
• Support higher-acuity caseloads, crises and service planning; be primary escalation point for complex cases.
• Review case documentation, assessments, and plans to ensure quality, confidentiality, and compliance.
• Coordinate staff training, develop referral pathways, and maintain consistent social services practices across sites.
