Job summary

TEGNA KYTX-TV Tyler, the CBS affiliate, is seeking a proven Account Executive to grow new business and manage a local advertising book across broadcast TV, Premion streaming/CTV and digital. You will walk into business owners' offices or agency pitches to uncover driving marketing decisions and build multi-platform solutions that win budgets.

Qualifications

• Extensive media, digital, or advertising sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a competitive market.
• Ability to prospect, open new business, and build a self-sustaining pipeline without relying on leads.
• Knowledge of the modern media landscape: broadcast TV, streaming/CTV, programmatic, digital video, display, social, and content.
• Experience selling to business owners and/or agencies and leading strategic pitches.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to turn data and analytics into a clear ROI narrative for clients.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of local and regional advertisers, connect with key decision-makers and create opportunities across broadcast TV, Premion streaming/CTV and digital.
• Sell strategically and consultatively. Uncover client goals and architect multi-platform solutions tied to measurable outcomes.
• Own the full sales cycle. Prospect, qualify, present, negotiate and close while meeting activity and revenue targets.
• Grow and defend the book. Turn accounts into long-term partnerships and expand through upsell/cross-sell across the portfolio.
• Pitch with data. Build insight-driven proposals showing how reach and targeting combine for ROI.
• Run your business. Manage pipeline, forecast, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver campaigns.
