Job summary

Interstate Assembly Systems in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Build Planner to join our team. This role serves as the critical link between Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production, ensuring projects move smoothly from order acceptance through manufacturing, invoicing, and delivery.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, excels at cross‑functional collaboration, and can manage multiple projects while keeping schedules, budgets, and production timelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-sale lifecycle including planning, production, invoicing, and delivery.
• Coordinate communication between Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production.
• Establish deadlines to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Monitor timelines and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within production schedules.
• Create and track project budgets to keep production within costs.
• Build relationships across departments and with Production Operations Manager.
• Conduct root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate inventory needs to Purchasing based on WIP and forecasts.
• Ensure materials are sourced and delivered per production schedules.
• Meet regularly with department leaders to review progress.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates.
