Job summary

Green Circle Growers is seeking a Cross Dock Lead to oversee daily dock operations in our Ohio facility. You will manage a team, ensure accurate handling of shipments, and coordinate with dock staff, warehouse management, and transportation personnel.

The shift runs Thursday through Monday. The role requires leadership, organization, and strong communication, with experience in warehouse or cross-dock environments and the ability to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or relevant experience.
• 2-3+ years of warehouse, cross-dock, logistics, or freight handling experience preferred.
• 1-2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer literacy or ability to learn warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping activities including order picking, packing, staging, and loading.
• Lead and coordinate the work of the shipping and receiving team members.
• Train, coach, and motivate employees to improve performance and provide feedback to management.
• Ensure accurate handling of shipping manifests, purchase orders, and other documents.
• Facilitate proper sorting, labeling, scanning, and storage of inbound shipments.
• Load outbound trucks and trailers in correct sequence to support OTIF goals.
