Job summary

Steam Logistics is seeking a Cross-Border Procurement and Pricing Manager in Laredo, TX. The role focuses on developing and executing procurement strategies for U.S.–Mexico cross-border transportation, partnering with internal stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will oversee procurement and pricing to maximize efficiency and profitability while remaining competitive. This position requires Spanish and English fluency and strong carrier management experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (reading, writing, verbal).
• Strong analytical skills with Excel.
• Experience negotiating rates and managing carrier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop a carrier network for cross-border shipments between the U.S. and Mexico.
• Negotiate transportation rates and terms with providers.
• Engage with agents and Mexican carrier partners as primary contacts.
• Build and grow carrier accounts; ensure service levels meet expectations.
• Research new carriers and generate leads in target markets.
