Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Manager of Materials Coordination to lead a cross-border team across Canada and the U.S., driving material planning, standardization, and cost optimization within project portfolios.

You will oversee process improvements, bulk purchases, asset recovery, and governance of SC policies while collaborating with Project Managers, Procurement, Engineering and Warehousing to ensure timely material flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in materials management, project management, or construction management, with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles, procurement processes, and inventory systems (SAP, PIMS, etc.).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a centralized team of Materials Coordinators across Canada and the U.S. to ensure consistent practices and high performance.
• Oversee material coordination processes and SAP/PIMS tooling; drive alignment with SC initiatives.
• Manage surplus and inventory strategies, asset recovery, and cost recovery mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, Engineering and Warehousing to ensure seamless material flow.
• Monitor KPIs and provide updates on performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.
• Support change management and communications for organizational transitions.
