Job summary

TC Energy Corp. seeks a Manager of Materials Coordination to lead a cross-border team across Canada and the U.S., guiding planning, execution, and optimization of materials management for major projects with a focus on standardization and cost control.

You will drive early involvement of Materials Coordinators in project lifecycles, oversee dashboards (Power BI) and SAP workflows, coordinate with Procurement, Engineering and Warehousing, and monitor KPIs to ensure timely material flow and value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field.
• 8+ years in materials management, project management, or construction management with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycles, procurement, and inventory systems (SAP, PIMS).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a centralized team of Materials Coordinators across Canada and the U.S.
• Champion integration of MCs earlier in project lifecycles to improve planning and cost control.
• Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of Material Coordination Process and tools (Power BI dashboards, SAP workflows).
• Drive alignment with Supply Chain initiatives such as Scope of Supply and annual bulk pipe purchases, and S4 Hana implementation.
• Lead surplus material strategies including project-to-project transfers, asset recovery, and disposition planning.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, Engineering, and Warehousing to ensure seamless material flow and issue resolution.
