Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in New York seeks a Cross Border M&A Associate with a minimum of three years' experience to join its team. The role focuses on sophisticated domestic and international transactions involving the US, Latin America, and other global markets.

Responsibilities include advising on mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating documents, coordinating due diligence, and working with cross-border deal teams to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the hiring jurisdiction.
• Reside in the designated jurisdiction at or prior to the time of hire.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate governance.
• Experience with cross-border transactions, particularly US and Latin America.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various transaction documents and corporate materials.
• Support transaction structuring and execution across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct and coordinate legal due diligence.
• Collaborate with cross-practice and cross-border deal teams.
• Advise on corporate governance and post-closing integration matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
