Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in San Francisco seeks a mid-level M&A associate with 4-8 years of relevant experience to join their Transactions Practice Group. The role focuses on U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, with an emphasis on private equity-driven transactions.

The successful candidate will represent clients in complex deals, draft and negotiate throughout the lifecycle, manage multiple workstreams, and engage in business development to build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in M&A transactions and strategic transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and client interactions.
• Interest in business development and client relationship building.
• Active Bar admission in relevant jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex corporate M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers.
• Draft, negotiate, and communicate effectively throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Manage multiple workstreams and interact directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Engage in business development and build long-term client relationships.
