Job summary

Kovalus Company in Wilmington, MA is seeking a proactive Logistics and Compliance Specialist I to coordinate domestic and international logistics, manage shipments, customs processes, and ensure on-time delivery of materials and finished goods.

The role requires manufacturing logistics experience, IMMEX knowledge, and strong Excel/data analysis skills. You will work with brokers, carriers, and internal teams to maintain audit-ready documentation and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of logistics operations in manufacturing.
• Experience managing US–Mexico cross-border logistics.
• IMMEX program knowledge and customs compliance experience.
• Advanced English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong Excel, data analysis, and reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and logistics software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid US visa or ability to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments between Mexico and the United States.
• Monitor transportation schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage import/export transactions under IMMEX regulations and documentation.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and validate import/export documentation for audits.
• Support production by ensuring material availability and tracking movements.
• Analyze logistics data to drive cost reductions and efficiency.
• Resolve shipment delays and customs issues impacting operations.
