Beacon Hill is seeking an Import/Export Specialist (Manufacturing) to support domestic and international shipments. You will process orders, validate data, coordinate freight, and ensure regulatory compliance across markets.

This role emphasizes customer service and collaboration with sales, distributors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in import/export operations, knowledge of US and international trade laws, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in import and/or export operations.
• Knowledge of U.S. and international import/export laws and regulations.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe.
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Receive and process unit and parts orders from customers, sales, distributors, and subsidiaries.
• Accurately enter and validate orders within the company system.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments via ground and air freight.
• Obtain shipment specifications and communicate requirements to freight carriers and forwarders.
• Manage import and export bookings, including routing and scheduling.
• Initiate and coordinate pickups and deliveries with authorized agents and freight forwarders.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation and regulatory papers.
• Ensure compliance with letters of credit and other PO requirements.
• Identify and resolve shipment issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Communicate updates to Sales and stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with policies, regulations and customer requirements.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
