Job summary

Valin Corporation seeks a Compliance Coordinator to support domestic and international shipping compliance, import/export documentation, and RMAs involving international customers. You will coordinate with freight brokers, customs partners, and internal teams to ensure shipments meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, logistics, or international shipping.
• Experience with import/export documentation and RMAs for international customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor domestic and international shipments for regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and maintain import/export documents (invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, origin certificates).
• Coordinate international exports/imports, including classification and routing.
• Manage RMAs involving foreign customers returning to the U.S.
• Ensure returns documentation minimizes delays, duties, and compliance issues.
• Work with brokers, forwarders, carriers, and customs to resolve issues.
• Review shipping docs for accuracy and flag potential compliance concerns.
• Maintain records of import/export transactions and compliance correspondence.
