Keystone Cooperative in Bringhurst, Indiana invites interns to join our crop diagnostics team. You will scout fields, collect samples, fly UAVs, and help our agronomy professionals make timely decisions during the growing season.

This internship emphasizes hands-on field work, travel across the territory, development activities, and practical experience with GPS tools, iPad-based data collection, and field equipment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Agronomy students are preferred; others with interest in agronomy may be considered.
• Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to operate a GPS and iPad-based field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Scout fields and create reports on weeds, insects, diseases, growth stages, and stand counts.
• Perform UAV flights to observe fields and collect data.
• Collect tissue samples and prepare for testing.
• Conduct soil moisture probing and soil nitrate sampling.
• Organize, place, and remove field signs.
• Travel 100% within territory; 75% field work, 25% training/events.
• Participate in weekly professional development activities.
