Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, is seeking a Sales Representative to expand agricultural inputs sales with growers across our Michigan network. You will manage customer relationships, ensure timely delivery, and drive adoption of proprietary products while supporting credit risk assessment and collections.

Ideal candidates bring a university degree or 5+ years of agriculture experience, plus 2+ years in the industry and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred, or 5+ years agriculture experience.
• 2+ years' experience in agriculture industry and agricultural chemicals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase agricultural inputs sales and meet goals.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and product quality.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe actions to resolve issues.
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk and communicate with Credit Manager.
• Collect outstanding accounts receivable from customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
