Job summary

Bayer offers a 12-week Crop Science Sales Intern program in the United States. You will join a sales team across Seeds & Traits, Crop Protection, and Digital Farming Solutions, mentored daily, and gain hands-on experience in sales, agronomy, and digital tools while rotating through territories with in-person and virtual networking opportunities.

Qualifications

Pursuing at least a bachelor’s degree.
Interest in agricultural industry and sales.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
Willingness to relocate for 12-week internship and travel within territory.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive in territory.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds of seed.

Responsibilities

Work with a mentor to learn Bayer’s sales of its portfolio.
Complete projects to deepen knowledge and present findings.
Develop relationships with farmer customers and partners.
Gain understanding of agricultural industry and Bayer’s role in sustainable agriculture.
Develop skills in sales, agronomy, business, and digital tools.
Learn the sales process including prospecting and cold calling.
Focus on core competencies: Customer Centricity, Product Portfolio, and Data Analytics.
