Job summary

Bayer Crop Science is seeking a Crop Science Sales Intern for a 12-week program in the United States. You will join a sales team, work on ministerial projects, and gain exposure to seeds & traits, crop protection, agronomy, and digital farming solutions.

You will develop skills in sales, agronomy, business, digital tools, and networking while supported by a mentor and a cohort of peers. This paid internship requires relocation and willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at minimum a bachelor’s degree.
• Passionate about the agricultural industry and a career in sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor within a sales team to learn Bayer’s portfolio.
• Complete projects to deepen knowledge and present findings at internship end.
• Develop relationships with farmer customers and partners.
• Gain understanding of market dynamics and Bayer’s role in sustainable agriculture.
• Learn sales processes including prospecting and cold calling.
• Support core competency areas: Customer Centricity, Portfolio knowledge, Data Analytics.
