Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Crop Science Sales Intern for a 12-week program in the United States. You will join a sales team with mentors, work on business-critical projects, and build skills in sales, agronomy, and digital tools while engaging with farmer customers and partners.

You should be pursuing a bachelor's degree with strong communication and leadership qualities, and you must be willing to relocate and travel within the territory; a company vehicle is provided where required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at minimum a bachelor's degree.
• Passionate about the agricultural industry and sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Driven to meet farmer customer needs and deliver solutions.

• Ability to prioritise time in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to relocate for the 12-week internship.
• Ability to travel and drive with a company vehicle; valid license.
• Physically able to lift a 60-pound bag of seed.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor to learn sales of Bayer's portfolio.
• Complete projects to deepen product knowledge and present findings.
• Develop relationships with farmer customers and partners.
• Understand market dynamics and Bayer's role in sustainable agriculture.
• Develop sales, agronomy, business, and digital skills.
• Learn the sales process, including prospecting and cold calling.
• Focus on Customer Centricity, Product Portfolio, and Data Analytics.
