Job summary

Syensqo seeks a Business Development Manager – Crop Protection to accelerate growth in North America. You will identify, develop and commercialize new opportunities with customers, KAMs, and R&I teams, leading projects from concept to launch and coordinating cross-functional resources for commercialization.

You will analyze markets, support strategic accounts, and contribute to a comprehensive NA growth strategy while traveling across North America to engage with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Agronomy, or related technical discipline.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in business development, technical sales, or related roles within crop protection.
• Strong understanding of the crop protection industry, including formulation technologies and market dynamics.
• Ability to advance complex customer projects from concept to commercialization.
• Experience collaborating with technical and commercial teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to travel across North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-driven innovation projects and coordinate cross-functional resources to commercialization.
• Develop and manage a structured pipeline; prioritize opportunities by strategic fit and potential.
• Support key account development, qualification, product trials, and commercial implementation.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses and contribute to NA growth strategy.
