Key Responsibilities of a Crop Insurance Intern:

• Acreage Report Review & Mapping: Accurately input field boundary and planting information into approved insurance providers mapping systems.
• Data Processing: Review and process multi‑peril crop insurance acreage reports and production history in approved insurance providers processing systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Document Management: Manage internal document storage and recordkeeping using tools such as Journey+ and OnBase, maintaining organized and easily accessible records.
• Crop Insurance Reports: Create reports to reconcile with internal databases.

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or business.
• Sophomore status or above in your academic program.
• A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required.
• Strong interest in or prior experience working in the agricultural sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail, self‑motivated and eager to learn.
