GreenStone Farm Credit Services is offering a Capital Markets Credit Intern position in East Lansing, MI for May 2027 through August 2027. This paid internship provides hands-on exposure to credit underwriting within the agricultural sector, working with Credit Analysts to analyze data and support lending decisions.

You will gain experience with agricultural finance, network with professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields (see above).
• Sophomore status or higher required.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 requested.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivation and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Learn from an experienced Capital Markets Lending Credit Analyst to understand credit underwriting for agriculture.
• Gather, analyze, and present data for projects within timelines.
• Input and analyze financial data using analysis software; support lending decisions.

This is a paid Internship with an hourly rate of $20/hr

Requirements:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Agriculture background or interest preferred.

• Sophomore status or above in your academic program.
• A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
