Brown & Brown in Indiana is seeking a Producer to join our growing team. As a Crop Insurance Agent, you will build trusted relationships with agricultural producers while driving profitable growth through sale and service of crop insurance and risk management solutions.

You will serve as strategic advisor, evaluate risk, provide informed coverage decisions, and stay current with industry trends, regulations, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and earn customer trust.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Agricultural background or knowledge of farming operations preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with current and prospective agricultural producers.
• Drive profitable growth within an assigned territory through prospecting, referrals, networking, and community engagement.
• Educate producers on crop insurance programs, products, and risk management strategies tailored to their operations.
• Conduct customer reviews and provide consultative coverage recommendations based on each producer’s goals and risk profile.
• Achieve established sales, retention, and growth objectives within assigned territory.
