Job summary
UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic cases and cardiac catheterizations.
Eligible applicants are graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and must hold CRNA certification with Alabama Board of Nursing, along with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. This role includes clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
- Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
- CRNA Specialty certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- ACLS certification required.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- PALS (AHA) certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
- Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
