UAB Medicine is seeking a part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under direction for diverse surgical procedures and cardio-thoracic cases. The role includes participation in nurse anesthesia student instruction and supports Alabama and national PSLF-eligible benefits.

The position offers a pay range of $101,750 to $136,942 per year, with shifts from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on alternating weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• CRNA credential by Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• PALS certification required (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic operations and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
