Qualifications

• Graduate of a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced anesthesia environment.
• Current CRNA practice aligns with safety standards and clinical privileges.

Responsibilities

• Delineate clinical responsibilities by clinical privileges.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data prior to procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Maintain vigilance with airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic response.
• Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, transfer-of-care note.
• Log incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
