Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data related to medical and surgical history for planned procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per standard practice.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic response to ensure patient safety.
• Complete required documentation including surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthesia record, and transfer-of-care note.
• Log incidents in the computerized Safety Portal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
