Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by CAC or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities of the CRNA are delineated by clinical privileges.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data prior to procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status and physiologic responses for patient safety.
• Complete required documentation including surgical safety checklist and anesthesia records.
• Log incident reports in Safety Portal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
