Job summary

The UAB Division of Community Anesthesia is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for a broad range of surgical procedures at UAB St. Vincent’s East.

The role includes participation in nurse anesthesia student instruction and adherence to Department of Anesthesiology policies. We value autonomy, collaboration with surgeons, and a collegial team environment within a teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Alabama CRNA license required.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
• Key responsibilities are performed under the policy and procedures of the Department of Anesthesiology.
