Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a part-time CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries. You will contribute to clinical instruction for nurse anesthesia students and support PSLF-eligible benefits for eligible positions.

Shifts are part-time with a 6 a.m.–7 p.m. schedule and alternating weekends. We offer robust education assistance, generous PTO, wellness programs, and paid parental leave to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN CRNA certification required by Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
