Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a part-time nurse anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic cases. You will also participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and hold CRNA with Alabama Board of Nursing; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• APN with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
