Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures. This part-time role includes weekend alternating schedules and a demanding but rewarding clinical environment.

The position requires accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program graduate, APN with CRNA certification by the Alabama Board, ACLS, BLS, and PALS. UAB Medicine offers strong educational benefits, generous PTO, and PSLF eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• APN with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
